I along with few of my friends were looking for some new place around New Panvel to hangout for dinner when one of us suggested this newly opened restaurant named "Mirch Masala" in Venkat Heritage building, located right next to main road leading towards Tembude village & Taloja MIDC.
Many of us initially were reluctant knowing the location but eventually we all decided to check out this new restaurant.
Drive distance: Just about 5 minutes drive towards the other side of the Mumbai Pune expressway & we were there at the spot. It was just opposite the power grid plant.
First impression: This big family restaurant instantly caught our attention with its big lighted logo(somewhat identical) & mainly because of its calm n quiet location & beautiful ambiance. It was nicely decorated with lighting & plantations. With the big open garden in the front it just added to the beauty of this place. Hardly anyone of us expected a beautiful garden restaurant at such a quiet & secluded place.
Description: Restaurant had enough parking space, well maintained garden gave this awesome view from in and around. It had ample of open space in the surrounding making this place breezy and little cold. Tables were arranged both inside and outside, including that in garden area(which is the best part). Overall the restaurant layout is simple & divided into three parts. There is separate area for kitchen at one end, there's family dining hall at the middle & bar counter on the other side keeping it separate from family public.(That’s good)
Ambiance: For an open & under the sky garden restaurant exterior matters, here same feels exquisite & most importantly the surrounding is clean. Interiors are quiet spacious & pleasingly decorated with ambient lighting & soft music to give elite look. Tables are placed neatly at proper distance and seemed to be in a planned manner to ensure enough space & privacy to every group of customers. The capacity seemed of around 60 to 70 people, making it a perfect venue & location for private get-togethers & birthday parties.
Service: Service was excellent & beyond our expectations. The staff looked well trained and behaved nicely. They were well mannered with our girls, neatly dressed in uniforms & well coordinated, that gave us the feel of being in a 5 star restaurant. Orders were taken quickly & were served well in time(though not fast). With the service so good our expectations with food considerably increased.
Food: The main test of any family restaurant other than its service quality is the taste & quality of its cuisine. Well, we were not disappointed at all(at least to the extent of food that we ordered). Starters looked fantastic & tasted really delicious to our taste buds and so were the main course that we ordered. We all liked the food and discussed our own opinion and mostly every one of us wanted to come back again with their families.
Experience: We actually would have enjoyed some more time sitting in that open garden restaurant, if the food being served had delayed but unfortunately it was on time.Overall it was truly a pleasant experience. We will be planning many more hangouts at this place. whereas this write-up is just to inform people about this newly opened restaurant in New Panvel that has really taken us into surprise!
