My father had to undergo a hip replacement ..somebody came and told us about this hospital. we agreed to go there before checking on the internet as there was no time. so as soon as we arrived we got a great welcome and Dr mohandas told us that we needed ot get admitted. fine. he told us that we had to pay Rs 100000 up front for surgery and Rs 60000 for cost of components.
The nursing care was the worst ive ever seen. enema was done with a garden hose and nurses dont do that..its the ayahs doing everything. operation was done and there was some kind of mistakes from the doctors side...my fathers lungs collapsed. his body swelled up...he had some heart and kidney complications...all due to the negligence of the doctors. we could not even see him for 10 days as he was in the post operative ward. we tried calling but they did not answer. the amount of tension that we have been through ..words cannot describe. after a lot of arguments, my dad was out of that ward and he wanted to go home. he developed DVT and he said that he wanted to do it in our village. Everything about this hospital was bad, junior and senior doctors, nursing care, pricing, accomodation, food, the whole package.
If you go and stand there for 5 minutes you will see people cursing the staff, fights go on all the time...the only time they show their smile is when you pay. my dad is a doctor and he knew the whole time what happened...we were thinking of suing them but then decided not to as its the same with our judicial system. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO MIOT HOSPITAL.. THEY WILL KILL YOU.
