Cheap Goods from India, West throws them away...

I am from the Western World I demand cheap goods that can be thrown away. India on the other hand is a top country for "green" culture one where little is wasted and reliability is not expected. Mouth Shut has reviews of English motorcycles forty years after they were impossible to sell in England due to there unreliable and poor performance in comparison to Japanese motorcycles. How is it possible?

The reviews show a make do and mend culture. I saw a TV show in England recently which said a year average wage in India is just enough to fill a petrol tank up of a car. If this is the case then Indians should not follow the West they should design and build goods for their own culture a extra economical motorcycle one that does 200 mpg and is built in the most reliable way possible for extra long life is needed not throw away rubbish.

Indians must stop making products for the West and develop products for their own people to improve Indian lives not Western lives. In the West we have to scrap our motorcycles and cars because of the cost of repairs and a tank full of petrol to us is a days wages not a years. So if products are built for the West they will never serve the Indian well. The Indian needs to design their own long life products which are cheap to make easy to repair and are built to last.
