I haven’t been to Minerva Coffee Shop at Ameerpet for a while now, and I miss it.
One word that comes to mind when I think of the MCS (that’s the acronym I’m going to be using for the restaurant) at Ameerpet is cozy. It is cozy. And if you like South Indian food, this is just the place for you.
The food is great, they’ve got South Indian, North Indian and Chinese, but I believe their USP is their South Indian food and their amazing Madras Filter coffee. The ambience is alright, and the waiters leave you alone if you want to hang out there but not order too much. It’s not a place I used to see a lot of college going kids (They prefer roadside or coffee shops…why? Beats me!)
If you want to eat a good meal in peace with affordable prices…you should definitely visit.
Button idli with steaming sambar, rawa idli, butter plain dosa with coconut chutney...my mouth is watering so I better stop.
