Before I speak about Millenium , I waould like to tell my overall expereince about searching for the swift ldi diesel version.
I had sold my Verna and was planning to buy a Diesel Swift, search started at the Mycar showroom on the mumbai bangalore bypass, frankly I was lured by the size of the showroom and the grandness, I thought before I entered the showroom - don't judge a book by it's cover. I told myself -- never mind - let's give it a try.
I went in and was standing there for about 10 minutes, nobody came over - all the sales person were extremely busy - chatting amongst themselves. I finally went at the reception and asked him who is there to look after since I am planning to buy a Swift, after 10 more mintes a person arrived. I told him I was looking for a Swift LDi model. He kept on insisting that I should buy a petrol varitant. I was thoroughly irritated. I asked him if he has a vechile for a test drive - he did not have one. He told me to drive a petrol version - which we drove for about 2 kms and the petrol was dry !!! We had to walk all the walk back from 2 kms in hot sun back to the showroom.
Moving on, went to sai service at deccan. The same story , Shabby salesman and even shabbier way of handling a customer. Diesel gaadi ko 6 mahine waiting hai lena hai to bolo - take it or leave it - we are like this !!!
Fine , with a lot of dejection moved on to Millenium motors, I was shocked to see a spick and span showroom, was immediately given water and a person attended in a minute, I was told that there is a black colour car in stock and will be able to deliver it in 3 days !!! WOW !!! Fine, now regarding the paperwork , I told them I need the loan to be sanctioned in 2 days, they went out of the way to call the UTI BANK manger at the showroom and the whole process was completed in 3 hours flat !!. I paid them the booking amount and walked out with a BIG smile. The delivery day arrived, as promised the car was ready , spick and span and was handed over. The manager at millenium went OUT of the way to make it happen !! Kudos to the whole team, a defiante recommended place to buy a maruit.
The ONLY thing I disliked was - they gave ONLY 3 litres in the car !!! They could have given a tank full and taken the money from me !!!
