No other than Hrishikesh Mukherjee can direct films such beautifully and passionately.
The performances in the movie are just so powerful that you will feel that you are watching a real life story of a terminally ill woman played by Jaya Bachan.
Amitabh as a drunk and miserable person in the movie has acted too well , no one can deny that in those days any other actor was better than amitabh.
The music of the movie also does the justice to the movie. Morever, the movie is realistic piece of work. It can make anyone's heart crying.
The last scenes of the movie are very powerful . I wont spoil it for you. This movie is also similar fare to Anand. However I wouln't say that this movie is better than Mili. Both Anand and Mili are perfect masterpieces.
If you like the usual flicks of hrishikesh mukherjee. This one won't disappoint you.
The central character played by jaya bachan is perfect match of her. She just put her soul into this movie to make it worth watching.
Also the direction of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and performance given by Amitabh are not less either. Just Amazin this flick.
If you are in mood of watching some drama . Don't miss out on this movie.
I think any movie of the hirshida is not meant to be missed.
And also now I am looking forward to watch Satyakam of hrishida . However I am unable to find this movie everywhere. As I live overseas. If anyone has any info on this movie , please let me know thanks
And Mili is not meant to be missed. It made me cry inside and helped me understand the reality of life. So lesson from this movie can be learned. So don;t miss this masterpiece from the indian cinema
