I bought the cashmere wet and dry vaccum robot recently in oct 2017. Following is my review after two months of usage


Pros:


Dry cleaning effectiveness is the best and unimaginable dust is picked up by the product


I can rely on this product when my maid is not available for dry cleaning alone.


Cons:


Wet cleaning is not effective at all, as the product itself makes a lot of stain(wheel movement) in the floor due to random movements. It is unable to remove any mild stains on the floor.


Takes long time(close to 45 min) to clean a room size of less than 100 sqft. To circumvent this I have to be there physically using the virtual wall and enabling the machine to clean in phases for each of the room.


Cleaning is not effective(takes really long time) when your room is of below shape e.g your bedrooms


The product does not go back to the docking station although the docking station is in its visibility and close by.


The fall sensor works very erratic in couple of instances was above to fall in the stairs and I had to a physically hold back the machine. Hence you cannot rely on this machine for your stair case landing as you cannot leave it unattended.


In your balconies if there are water outlet(Jaali’s of dia 2- 3” – fixed steel ones), then there all chances that machine gets stuck in the curvature. It would not give any error messages and keep rotating there.


The plastics used in the wheels are very low quality, within 1.5 months of usage there is lot of wear and tear in the wheels, in spite of running it majority in wooden floors. These aberrations tend to make scratches in the wooden floor.


There are instances when the firmware behaves erratically, once you switch on the command to select cleaning mode does not come sometimes and if you tend to start cleaning without that voice command then machine gets stuck in a place and just does not start cleaning.


Scheduling does not work at all as the day and schedule setting just gets reset erratically when you switch off and switch on the product.


If the product is in docking station and there is power shutdown then the product starts the cleaning in the docking station itself, pushing and damaging the docking station and charge touch points in the product.


Customer Support:


Sales team never comes back to you after the sale is done irrespective of multiple follow-ups. Customer support team just keeps saying that their product is the best and is not willing to listen to the customer or visit the site. They want the customer to do a video chat with them demonstrating the complaints which is most insane approach for this product.


Customer support does not understand their own product; they were above to change the PCB two days after I purchased the product assuming that PCB was defective. We just stopped him from doing that and found that it is a constraint in the product. In this process the screw of the PCB was completely damaged in a brand new machine.


In spite of multiple requests from my side nobody was willing to visit my site and look into the product problems which can only be understood by seeing the product working in actual conditions.


The wet tank was damaged by the customer support engineer who visited us to give a demo. After multiple mails the water tank was replaced, just to discover that new water tank was completely non functional


Conclusion:


The major selling point of large water tank and wet mopping is a flaw in this product and the premium that I paid for that is not worth the penny.


Given the draw backs and customer support I would not recommend this product to any one until unless it is placed in a low cost segment e.g in range of 10-15K where you can afford to still manually intervene and just do the dry cleaning alone.
