This is the worst marathon experience. Should have seen that this was organized by Rotary club, one kanjoos organization. There was no electrolyte on the 10K run (salt/sugar). Post the run, the stalls serving some food/snacks were expensive. Nimbu pani was Rs.30/- a cup and it was not even good.
Unlike the Pondichery Marathon and Bangalore Ultra which started on time, this event started almost 25 minutes late. At the end of first loop, we had to go a few meters and then take a U-turn. But when completing the run, half the runners did not know if they had to just cross the finish line or again go all the way to the U-turn and cross the line.
Despite starting the 10K late, they were clearing the 10 K participants from the track before 12 midnight to let the half and full marathon start at 12. If you are a slow runner, you better plan to complete the distance in 1 hr. 40 min. (max) else you will be told to get off track. Not worth a single penny you spent on the registration.
FYI: I completed the run in 1hr 1min.
