The best operating system out in the market. And I am not talking about the high-powered geeks who say Linux or XP is the best. Maybe, coz their use is like that.
The thing is no one understands about those people who have never gone to classes and who have never written a program tag in their lives. It’s always ‘I like this!’ ‘I like that’.
Whoever is reading this and is a geek like given above, this is not for you. It is for a normal human who does not know what an operating system is and who think Windows is Computer!
Windows 95 is outdated coz it does not help much in speed and net connectivity. It does not have the plus’s the normal user wants.
Windows NT and 2000 are too technical and for those geeks I wrote about earlier(I don’t believe it.. you are still reading?). Good for networking and other high funda jobs. For usual users, these things irritate us. Like I don’t care about it since I have only one PC.
Windows XP is for the X or Y or lets say Z generation who want more from life and their PCs. High fidelity sound, great resolution, latest blockbuster viewing capabilities. Another point to be one step ahead from those other chaps( Like ‘I have XP and u don’t!’)
Now for W98: Windows 98 is the most reliable and stable operating system that Microsoft has ever made for the PUBLIC. Without any extra gizmos and frills, it packs the usability of which Windows is so famous and technology of which it should be famous.
Startup is fast. Downloading is fast. Works on 486 machines. Watch movies. Hear songs. Use a web cam. Use image editing softwares. Voice conferencing. Web development. Write official documents. Print. Scan. And the best part: It does not hang often, and is pretty fast.
Simply put, it is by the people, of the people, for the people.
Hey, what else can a guy want… right?
ps: All the above capabilities ofcourse depend on the hardware also. You can’t win a F2 Grand Prix driving a Fiat, can you?
