Stable but still irky software. Review on Microsoft Windows 2000

Well, all you think that there has been no other software like Windows 2000 huh!, yes I do agree with u ppl but but...wait when compared to Windows 98, 2000 is a waste.

Just load 98 and 2000 on two machines and see the diff by urself.. 98 loads faster, it doesnt crash so easily...but 2000 takes a heck lot of time and this fella reboots itself ..and sometimes it goes wiered.. some of its Components doesnt work...as I checked...some of its services shut down themselves....

I've been working on Windows 2000 and on Linux since last 2 yrs... sometimes Linux offers best stability and high speed performance and beats Windows 2000 in many routes.

I can accept Windows 2000 on some fronts like, plug and play compatability,availability of lots of drivers (u need not go on searching for drivers)..

I bet on Windows 98 and Linux better than 2000, but yeah u have to love the tux to understand it.
