Lumia 640 XL is one of those devices that came under the branding of Microsoft itself after the acquisition of Nokia by the earlier mentioned company.
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is the latest addition to the Lumia family. First of all it is not the LTE version. There is another variant of this device with 4G support available and don’t confuse it with this. The Lumia 640 XL features a large 5.7 inch IPS LCD screen with 1280*720 pixels resolution. It is running on Windows phone 8.1 and is upgradable to Windows 10 mobile. It is powered by 1.2 GHZ processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and 3000Mah battery. The primary camera is 13MP and it also has a 5MP front facing camera.
The screen is fairly bright and have good out door visibility. The main asset of this device is the camera. The 13MP camera is of very good quality and is capable of taking excellent pictures. Its low light capability is also noticeable. But the software is disappointing part of the device. Even though Microsoft has promised the upgrade, they have said nothing about when it will get it.
So overall it is a decent speced device with a very good camera and hardware.
