Over the years, I’ve always had to juggle between multiple browsers like Opera, Chrome, Firefox and IE, and it does get confusing at times managing the multiple tabs and windows.
But I just recently read some stuff about IE 8’s increased malware security as compared to the rest and that’s why I have started solely using IE 8. And I’ve found a few things they’ve added to it which are really cool.
The Smartscreen filter is useful and I do check most https sites with it. I also like the web slices thing they’ve added which means I never have to open a new tab for my mail n stuff cuz it just loads in that web slice itself. Apart from that, the colour coded tabs is such a cool thing.
I cant believe none of the other browsers did it..it does make a lot of sense. For once, there’s a good IE 8 that I’m happy I downloaded.
