The phrase “beauty is skin deep only “goes very much for this phone.
I saw the phone in a shop while shopping for something else, though I have more then 5 handsets lying around, of course in use, the appeal and sexuality reflected from the set was so strong that I could not resist buying it, also the feature of two Sims in it, justifying the common say “that two is always better then one” made the set more irresistible
The set is good to look at and generates a kind of confidence that it will work fine.
The keypad is very useful for typing in for sending Emails and SMS’s, but not for calling as the numbered keys are placed in the middle with very fine letters.
They should have supplied glasses and a torch with the handset. Glasses to see the number keys and torch again to see the keys in poor light and to open the phone lock as the+ keys is very wrongly placed and difficult to access in the dark.They could have proveded backlight keypad.
The music player is kind okay also the video is okay of course could be better, should have been better.
The phone is meant for business application and for using the net and emails, if one goes by the qwerty key pad .but sorry to say the manufactures have fooled all the buyers by throwing in those deceptive looks, as the phone has very limited applications as there are no business applications like word, note pad, etc.
Also the internet browser does not connect, though the OPERA browser works, even the email accounts do not connect as the phone does not connect maybe because the phones browser also does not connect. Even the service providers are at a loss to explain the reason behind this as their settings work fine in other phones. I have tried the same settings on Nokia &LG handsets with the same account and SIM and it worked fine, I could receive & send emails as the connection was connecting and even the internet browser of the phone was working, along with OPERA.
If one cannot use the email applications then the whole purpose of providing a QWERTY keypad is defeated.
The other draw back is one cannot install or download any application onto the phone except use the one already provided, which are only two opera and nimbus.
They could have provided some more applications and given a few more utilities and incorporated a more functional browser which would have added to their sale even though they could have priced it high, as very soon they will have more competition from branded companies. Samsung has already launched a phone with similar looks in the market
As far as the warranty for 1 year goes I don’t know what will happen if the set develops some fault. I have seen many posts on the net regarding the problems faced with the handset, but no company representative has come forward to explain and provide a solution, at least with branded phones you have a customer care to respond and help They have provided the customer care email but I doubt if any response will be received.
In the end remember all that glitters is not gold
