Must Read B4 U Decide Anything. Review on Micromax Q3 ezpad

Many people have given their reviews on Q3, but many have either not cared to have a proper look at it.or dont know how to use this new type(querty-which is a drift from the regular ones they might hav used) of mobile!

Actually I am too lazy to write reviews n stuffs but after reading so much misconception about this beautiful product I am forced to write.so here it goes

Its been around 6 Months I have been using this fone, so u can trust me! :)

I was searching for a dual sim phone(i hated chinese fones for their cheap looks n unreliability).basically for texting purposes.this ought to be my secondary fone. (I owned N73)

I had Q3 in my mind but was not sure.but after seeing it n holding it in my own hands.(at one branded shop).i was really taken aback by its high end mobile looks.felt soild n very uber-class.i knew I wanted it.

And it didnt appear risky to me as I knew it had Micromax had service centres even in very small towns.But that shop had a opened piece n its not wise to buy an opened piece so I thot vl wait.And believe me or not.i had to wait 2-3weeks before buying it finally.in bangalore @4.7(with 2GB card)

Coming straight to the point.

ADVANTAGES:

-Besides good looks which is sure to make ur colleagues and friends think of it as some high end mobile.it has got one of the best sounding external speakers i have heard( not like d cheap china fones which are just irritatingly loud).the sound is very pleasing with some bass effect.undoubtedly it was better than the stereo speakers of N73(known for its very good external speakers)-Secondly Dual Sim-Both Sims are Active at same time.no need to switch off and on to swich sim (here I would like to clear the doubts of many people: Many have asked me what will happens if currently u r on a call from SIM1 and same time a SIM2 caller calls you.?In that case SIM2 caller will hear after many beeps.

"The person is not reachable .please call after some time." :IT WONT SAY SWITCHED OFF as commonly thought.-QUERTY keypad takes some time to be acquainted with it. but once u get acquainted u can easily operate it and can easily amaze your frnds at the speed at which u can text!(and contrary to most reviews which say -That its impossible to unlock d mobile in dark; i can unlock and lock with my eyes closed)-PC suite provided WORKS FINE. and easily gets connected-This FONE IS VERY FAST and hardly hangs(has hanged just once in 6months!)-Got a large SMS and fonebook memory(1000 entries)! -Phonebook has advanced features and has the user friendly features of a nokia fones-Whats more-Its supports business cards from nokia fones. n u can easily transfer ur contacts via bluetooth from a nokia fone:)-Advanced features like FALSE background noise during CALL, Call RECORDINGS, FM Recording Available which work fine(u need to install softwares in my N73 to have these features!)-Screen although a GLOSSY one.doesnt GET SCRATCHED EASILY!

MISCONCEPTIONS:

-YES ITS GOT A VALID IMEI NO.-YES! U can install softwares(.jars) for this fone.but u have to search for them in the internet! (mostly softwares meant for sony ericsson fones which hav approx same screen resolutions should work) .-CHARGING- Interestingly you can charge ur fone from computer also using the data cable.(besides the supplied adapter)-this is an advance feature because if u have connected ur fone with ur PC to say transfer mp3 .it drains ur battery!(this is very also useful during long distance train journeys wer passengers usually carry their laptops.).-NIMBUZZ and OPERA WORKs JUST FINE! -those of you say it doesnt.u probably havnt configured the settings properly! n nowadays with decreasing browsing charges u can use it frequently!-SPEED DIAL -Works Very FINE.-Some people say Volume key is not there-Rubbish! The'+' '-' keys on QUERTY function as volume keys.

DISADVANTAGES:

-Sound from internal speaker is low(cant hear to the voices of calling part clearly in a noisy place. But during these times u can switch to loudspeaker mode rite!.--Camera quality is very bad! its worser than 6600's VGA(which is good in terms of vga standards)-Screen is glossy which often causes reflection of the user to interfere with the image coming from screen.; also the material above screen is a thick one. so it is a bit uncomfortable to view d screen.-AND THATS IT-.

BOTTOMLINE: IT IS AN AWESOME SET AT ITS PRICE IF U R LOOKING FOR A DUAL SIM MOBILE AND ALSO WANT THE EASE OF A QUERTY KEYPAD.WITH A SUPERB EXTERNAL SPEAKER .IF U DONT MIND COMPROMISING ON CAMERA AND SCREEN CLARITY AND QUALITY!
