The Micromax Funbook Alpha was launched in october. It has a 1ghz processor coupled with 512mb ram. The multitasking and gaming is very laggy. It runs on android ice cream sandwich which is outdated and the interface is also very bad. It comes with a lot of bloatware from micromax which could not be uninstalled. It has a 7 inch 480x800 display which is quite a large but according to the screen the resolution is very bad and is the brightness is also very dull. I love to watch movies on this tablet because of its size.
It comes with 4gb storage which can be expanded via a MicroSD card upto 32gb . It has VGA primary camera which is very bad and the pictures come out to be very dull and even in the daylight the performance of the camera is very bad. It also does not have a front facing camera which is very sad.
If you are looking for a large tab to watch movies, you can go for this .But if you are looking for a tab that will provide you with a smooth lagfree performance and great picture quality then this will definitely disappoint you.
