For how many days can a common tech-savvy-Delhi-guy live without our mobile?Well I found a company keenly interested in testing aforesaid question-MICROMAX
yes this company is probably doing patience testing(or stress testing) of its customers through its service centers.
I put my question in a different way.How many days can a company take to repair a under-warranty mobile.your guesses:-
1 week
2 week
1 month.
What if the company tells you it will take about 2-3 months.Shocked.
Yes I was shocked too.
"Hey buddy(or test lab rat) we have tested your patience and you performed well-living without your mobile for last 15 days. Now the next level of testing. Can you live without your mobile for a couple of months?"
above is what the overall conversation with the service center personnel felt like.I fear if there is any third level of testing that will ask me to wait for an year.Story goes.
I bought a Micromax canvas express 2 on 28 dec. 2015.mobile turned off on 14 April 2016 and was not booting anymore.I took it to Micromax service center in Patel Nagar. They gave an initial estimated time of 10 days.I called them after 14 days(1st level) and service center guy told me(next level) to wait for 2 more months as they don't have the spare-parts.
The most important thing that comes out of this incident(at the expense my personal inconvenience) is-Are there any rules or laws to protect customer's right of timely delivery of service?Micromax sure hasn't put them in place but what about government. All this warranty charade is rampantly going on indiscriminately without any well set of rules. Is government listening?
But then again I am a mango person who wants his mobile serviced in 1 month.so more pressing question to me -is Micromax listening?
I let you guys to judge this case.As far as Micromax company is concerned its reputation obliterates-not to be found anywhere anymore.
