I'm Ujjwal from Jaipur. I'm using Iphone4 currently. But I was looking for a budget smartphone with bigger display, good camera. I just saw an ad regarding Micromax Canvas Spark. It was available on Snapdeal flash sale only. I just went throught all it s specifications and all. Compared it with several otherhandsets but not much of them could compete with this(at least not in the figures). A good options was from Xiamomi. But I preferred the MicroMax over Xiaomi.
So I registered for the MMX Canvas Spark and crossed fingers for the flash sale. And the day came. But I couldn't grab it coz of being extremely busy wit some work. And it got sold out in a matter of minutes.After having this experience I got interested in this device more. .(remember Redmi!)
Okay.next sale was on 13th May. and this time I was all set with my laptop ready. And I succeeded to order the mobile at 12.00PM. I got the confirmation mail, sms etc. I was informed that the device will be delivered to me by 18th may. Ok, next day I received sms from courier company and the courier person was delivered the handset on 14th May at 5.00PM. I appreciate Snapdeal for the quick and safe delivery of the product. It was my first experience of getting any electronic gadget from Online shopping site.

Now lets come to the MMX Canvas Spark device. The device was pretty slim and had got the 4.7" display with nice picture quality. Its very slim and light weighted phone. Since all the specification are there on the net so I'm not gonna discuss those here. So just a brief hands-on experience-
Camera quality was good in full light. and average in low light.(flash does the good job). Secondary camera is average.
Latest Android OS is a plus. I liked the virtual qwerty keypad'at first'. Graphics also good.
It played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HD movie very well just as my laptop does.
Battery lasts for a day with routine whatsapp, fb and calling for about 30 mints.(Yeah I spend less time on calling).
Till date there is no heating problem as I had read in reviews.
Accelerometer responds quickly.
Sound quality over the call is good. Late night callers may be happy with this.
Speaker on the real is average. It not for loud music listeners neither the In-box headphone gonna help you much.
Those light indicators on front for charging look nice.
Currently I have not installed many apps/games(coz I'm not much interested in it) and not inserted memory card so can't say about it. It has got many pre installed apps and it handles them nice. But it will lag if you are running 5-6 apps together.
The most irritating problem is when you are typing msgs constantly with its on screen qwerty keypad. it shows error "Unfortunately, Reverie smartpad has stopped working" and hangs for few seconds and then resumes on its own. this is the noticeable issue really if you do texts a lot.
Overall the MMX has presented Value for Money handset and all the features we get with this are quite fair deal just for 4, 999/-.
If you don't wanna spend big amount for the smartphone, go, grab it.*
