The Micromax Canvas5 was a beautifully put mobile, Sleek, Stylish, Smart. I was very happy to have purchased this mobile in November 2015. I started using this phone from March 2016 as I was attached to my Canvas doodle phone. This phone had me fed up in a few weeks. The screen froze up and since you can't remove the battery. You have to wait till it discharges.
Thereafter this problem took a display as it would constantly go into a DOS screen and heat up. That was almost a year ago.I have now become used to going to the main DOS screen and rebooting it from there after testing all components. ON A DAILY BASIS!. It has been the most idiotic irritating phone I have ever had.
If you can use it for an hour and half .Its performance is good.but.The battery drains very quickly.
The only way it may beat the I phone/Samsung I is if you threw one at it, in which case it may explode due to the overheating.
Final verdict- Not worth it.
