Build and Hardware:

The device was the first to boast a metal build in Rs 11000 price range. It felt quite sturdy and solid whrn held in the hand and there was no creaking sound at all. But one of the major flaws of the design was the two buttons that were provided to open the back panel. The buttons somehow used to get pressed in the pocket and the back panel used to pop off. It was really frustrating.

Talking about hardware, again almost flagship hardware at that price point. The phone came with a Nvidia dual core 1 ghz processor coupled with 512 MB of ram. Ram was less compared to the flagship devices. It had ULP GeForce Gpu, 8gb internal storage, 3.8 inches screen with SD resolution i.e 480x800, 8 MP rear camera with no flash and VGA front camera. The speaker was back firing and had a micro usb port on top for charging and data transfer. The memory was expandable upto 32gb.

Performance:

The phone performed decently well in normal day to day tasks thanks to its excellent hardware. There were no lags whatsoever and it ran almost any app or game thrown at it. The phone also came with a special Nvidia gaming application which had optimized graphics suited for the GeForce GPU. The display was good in terms of resolution but lacked contrast.

Camera:

The camera quality was not that great. The images lacked details and were absolutely useless for cropping purposes. The front cam was also very poor. The videos had the same issue, they lacked the detail completely. The low light performance was absolutely terrible, nothing to talk about it.

Connectivity:

The device had single sim which accepted a regular sim. It had all the other basic connectivity features like wifi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support, etc. It didn’t had nfc though. The call quality was average and the device used to heat up after sometime, probably due to metal back. The other features worked as expected. The GPS was quite slow and took a lot of time to lock.

Battery:

The responsibility of powering the device was on 1500 mah battery. And it struggled, struggled a lot. This could be because of poor OS optimization but it was very bad. The standby time was also poor and I could get only 1-1.5 hrs of SOT. While gaming the performance was absolutely awful.

Overall I was not at all satisfied with the device and I felt it was better to pay the premium price for other flagship devices over Micromax A85.
