If I suggest, Micro-max is a company that believes that whatever they sell will not need after sales service or better yet they should sell the products with tagline "We are selling it cheap, Do not bother us with service now"
This is the basic problem with buying its products, I had in the past faced such issues with them (for a internet dongle, Micro-max a60 earpiece and micro-max gravity battery).
Believe me, all the above required more than 2 months to replace in the warranty period, and these are such things that are readily (2-3 days max) , replaced by other companies as Nokia and Samsung.
So buying a "Micro-max" product is a gamble like a Chinese mobile, It is cheap, has the features, but the Chinese one comes out boldly with no warranty (Use and throw :))
Such a gamble, I say, can be good for lesser price, but buying phones for features that you actually plan to use everyday, this gamble is no good for the high price phones (IMHO: Micro-max phone above 6k is high price phone).
In case you like the phone, buy it, start using it, get used to it, then one fine morning you find out it has got rabies :), but the service center does not have any item readily available for your phone. You have to leave it there for unknown time, switch back to your 1100 for that duration and miss the features.
