I purchased A100 Micromax for following reasons. It has 5" Capacitive touch screen, Android ICS OS, 1Ghz processor, 1.5GB internal memeory, Cost is very less fo features offered.
Cost to features offered is good. Applications run in background, we do not even know. No exit provision to stop applications. touch key pad is congested.Suite does not open mobile features to manage them. Manufacturers Site does not have any useful downloads for this A100. Battery is grossly under rated. ON OFF button is hard to operate. Too many icons to choose from, confusions galore. Some times screens open by themselves. may be touch screen responds to unintended touch ? voice needs to be adjusted for clarity. Context menus are not really helpful, making you to search for options you need elsewhere.
Email account opening is easy but purging the account is very difficult. 5" touch screen is very good. screen rotating is erratic. Many times it gets stuck in rotated position only. Camera resolution and focusing is good. Review of pictures needs skill. Memories, 3 types, Internal, system and external SD card are difficult to understand.Charger is slow. Handling of different features of phones are possible probably for new generation only. Old timers like me may get lost.
Other brands do not have all these features in any one model. Models closer to this specifications costs almost 3 times.
