I purchased this phone around an year back as I needed a smartphone on a small budget. This model seemed like a great deal as it has 3G support along with other standard smartphone features.
The phone worked fine initially but started developing problems in the first month itself. The Vibrate function stopped working in the first week and after a month I started having problems with the 16 gb memory card that I bought separately.
The card worked fine on other phones, but when I used it in Bolt 089 it would eject the memory card at random intervals. So I would keep getting "SD card removed" followed by "SD card inserted" notifications several times per hour.
Apart from being really annoying, this used to drain the battery in a few hours. Unfortunately I was posted in a remote area at this time and could not find a service centre close to me. For 5 months my phone crawled on like this and one day it just shut down and wouldn't boot beyond the initial screen.
When I was able to finally take it to the service centre, they gave me a replacement handset(same model) after making me wait for more than a month. Now the new phone has also started having issues with its audio. The volume just becomes really low for some reason and I miss calls sometimes due to this. I think I will buy a new phone, this time it's not going to be Micromax.
Pros
Value for money
Good feature set
Cons
Hardware is not that great. Phone is really slow especially while gaming and internet surfing.
Camera quality is terrible(both front and back)
Audio quality is not good at all. Even basic phones(
Bottomline
Put in a bit more money and get a higher model preferably from a more reputed company
