The most pathetic and chor company and service! I bought a new redmi phone 2 months back for 17k for my mother's bday. Suddenly 20 days back the phone blanked out. Totally black. I called the service center and said that the phone is in warranty and to pick up the phone and fix it.
I knew from the way the service center fellow in noida spoke that he is just looking for a way out to not service my phone due to the fact that it may be a "free" repair. Product was picked up, as expected next day fellow calls up and says that there is water inside the phone and he cannot repair. Cost will be more than what i bought the phone for. I confirmed with my mother she said no way any water has gone in.
To cut the long story short, got the phone back without repair, got it repaired at Rs 1500 from neighbouring shop and it works as new,
These service centers of all major phone companies are making a complete fool out of you!
