Mi band for fitness freaks. Review on Mi Band

I never knew wat fitness band was till I came across MI band.

Mi band was launched in July 2014

Mi band is only for fitness freaks I usually go for long walks in the morning which helps to tell about how many steps I have walked, sleep how many calories burned

There are three tiny lights on the band colors can be changed via app to charge the band you receive a usb charging cable you can plug or charge it into pc or wall charger the band  is made of silicone material and the band is 230 mm in length it can even fit to large hands, small button locks the band so that it doesnt come out easily. It is water resistance so that you can use it in shower. It can store data even when it is disconnected from smart phone you need to connect it with your bluetooth I mostly connect it on the night and sync all the details in my phone and monitor it, You can set the number you aim for, it also motivates the numbers of days you have crossed your goals, if 1/3 of your goal is achieved one light blinks, another light will blink when 2/3 of your target is achieved and all the lights blink and it starts vibrating when the target is completed you can also get details about the activities of a particular day of the past.

It tracks your sleep your light sleep deep sleep your awake time, you can share the sleep data easily and smiliar to the fitness tracking .

Since it uses just an accelerometer, it tracks the movement of your hands to calculate your steps  similar to most fitness accessories.

Another intresting feature is the silent alarm it uses built in vibration motor to gently wake you up. The smart alarm wakes you up 30 minutes before the time you have set if you are in light sleep or ready to wake up state.

Battery life is approx 30 days after the charge The mi band glows in red when the battery is low.

One more intresting feature is find my Mi band in setting of the phone there is a option search for band it vibrates and all the three lights blink I didnt feel it that useful, however depends from person to person.

It also has incoming call notification. if your phone is far away, you can enable this feature to alert you with vibration so that you dont miss any calls.

Overall the mi band is a good fitness tracker, which can also track your sleep for the price tag. It doesnt have any complicated set up procedures and works as promised, it is defenitely worth the price and as I always say buy it, use it and enjoy it.
