Awesome. Review on Mi Band

After reading tons of reviews from various websites, I finally decided to buy this band. Gave it a trial for 5 km run during heavy rains. I had my GPS with me for verification purpose. To my pleasant surprise, Mi Band had remarkable accuracy for the distance traveled and amount of calories burnt.

I do not understand why this product has been given a rating of less than 5. Mi band does what it claims and is supposed to do. It is meant for the Indian people who want to start measuring their activities and dive into the world of body statistics without emptying their pockets. This product provides enough information needed for a beginner. This is the best available fitness band in this price range(as of now) given its accuracy, battery life, quality and reliability.

Following are some of the observations after using it for 5 hours:

1. Great accuracy. It was correct almost 99% of times( 100% efficiency practically not possible).

   
   




2. Water proof: Verified while running in heavy rains for 5 km and while taking shower.

   
   




3. Ridiculously light. You wont feel that you are wearing anything.

   
   




4. Rubber quality of the band is really good and feels great.

   
   




5. Works even with custom ROMs, I tested it on CM12.1(Android 5.1.1) on Redmi 1s

   
   




6. The Mi Fit app is OK and provides basic information. However, it will definitely get updates and will get better with time.

   
   




7. Battery Life: Did not use it much, but am sure it will live up to its claims.
