!@#$ Ginger in Your Ars... !@#$. Review on Mginger

Hehe, this site is a perfect example of what a hype could do.  It can make something out of nothing, it can even convince you to take ginger in your ahem .... you know where.

And I mean no offense, I am just try to be honest, that’s it. This is a useless site with an almost useless concept - they thought they would make it big, there intentions  looked noble as well, but at the end of day, it like I said, its like a ginger in your ....

Ok, one fine day Indian heard that you are going to be paid for receiving SMS in their mobile. First reaction was, ’ Wow! great news, we are going to be paid!! Hurry...!’

This site promoted itself as 'get paid to read SMS on your mobile’. They also gave us referral income, ie, you have to make a network of friend, and you can earn from the ads they receive. So, it’s again WOW http://www.

Now hatela baba is a kind of self acclaimed Internet marketer (w/o corticated of course!), and he was among the first to hear the news. He said to him self 'item to accha hai yaar, lets give it a try.’ So hatela made 150 members for the site in two days, and then waited to see, if they have anything to offer.

And, that was it.. all this gareeb banda got for his effort was 3 ads in a month, and a lucrative sum of Rs. 10 as referral income – that is the money this gareeb aadami made for those 150 members that he made.

To be honest, I knew from the beginning that this site won’t click, that’s why I didn’t made much effort. The funda is simple – Paid SMS thingy is not for Hindustanis. We are all muft-mein-mangta-hai-types. So are the other companies, hehe – why the hell they will pay us for SMS ads, when they know that they can already send it for free!  I get more than half a dozen ads on my mobile anyways – do those companies pay us for that – they just Spam our mobile – they know we cant do anything about it, so when this is the mentality, how on earth would you convince them to pay for sending SMS, when they are already doing it  ‘phokat me’!

So, does that make this site mginger bad? Why do I rate the site low – at least there intentions were good, isn’t it? Well, the reason for it is that business is not done on good intentions – it is done with planning – it requires some kind of foresightedness, and this site has failed miserably in everything they were suppose to do, except for getting hype (read ‘UNDESERVED HYPE’) of course!

They thought that they would click – they were bloody wrong, they thought that PAID SMS concept is for India - bloody wrong again. They marketed the site as ‘u-can-pay of-ur-mobile-bills-this-way’ hehe, pay of mobile bills… huh ! With present ‘income’ you cannot even buy a ginger out of it, if u want to put it in  ……

And see the Hype in there front page – We are making news, we are everywhere, BBC, CNN, Aaj tak, phalana dinka, blah blah blah … yes we can hear you – empty vessels makes the largest noise afterall.And the other sound of cause is that of  pain , hehe Now from ‘WOW’ , ‘W’ has become silent, and its all ‘OWWWWWWWWW’ , the miserable sound of the one who wasted there time in prompting this site.

Funny thing is that this site has encouraged many other sites – noe we see sites popping up with this PAID SMS concept – they offer double, triople rates for SMS, funny thing is that they hardly have any advertiser, and GET IT STRAGIHT, this PAID SMS is not meant for Indian – not for 5 years from now at least.

As for the site, it’s a flop show, whatever hype it has generated is underserved, yet unavoidable. I would not advise any one to waste their time registering in the site.
