I have a metlife insurance policy that the agent said, give life insurance coupled with capital growth through units. He told that I had to pay annual premium only for 3 years and thereafter I will get coverage for my life insurance for the entire policy period. It looked attractive. I paid 3 annual instalments hoping that I need not pay any more premium as they had assured. But I am being constantly pestered through phone calls and emails asking me to continue paying premium. A lady use to call me on my mobile and almost threatened me for not paying further instalments. I am terrified to receive their calls and emails. They are setting a trap on customers.
I will never recommend Metlife to anyone. I would rather advice anyone to keep away from these people. I do not think they will give you life insurance claim since their attitude itself is not civilised. They do not keep words and their agent tells you some story that their office people refute later. Their policies seem to be having lots of fine prints which you or me may not easily understand.
I only wish that my hard earned money that I paid as premium is not lost to me.
