I am a senior citizen but do a lot of travelling both domestic and international. On 2 Mar 15 under the booking reference 36159033 dt 2 March 15 I booked a Meru Gini cab for a pick up from my New Delhi residence at 4:45 PM and a drop to the IGI T3 Airport, New Delhi on 6 March 15 from the mobile app.
Immediately, I got a message stating that 20 minutes prior to the travel I would be getting the cab details. When on 6 Mar by 4:30 PM I didnt get the cab details I called your customer service and was told that they were sorry as there was no cabs available. So I asked what I should do. The man on the other side said well they were sorry and that they could do nothing about it. I then asked to speak to the supervisor or manager the man kept me on hold for 10 minutes and still there was no one to speak to me. I just had to hang up as we were getting late for the airport.
Now I ask you this. What would you have done under the circumstances? I have never ever heard of such absurdities when we banked on a reputed companies vehicle to drop us to the airport and no one bothered to let us know out fate. Someone from the cab company should have called and told us well this well in advance so that we could have made alternate arrangements.
Needless to mention here that I or my family members will never use a MERU cab again.
