Dear Meru Cab. I booked a cab for airport on Friday. The booking reference number is 40227409. The cab was supposed to pick me up at 10 30 am on Saturday( 30th May) and drop me to Bangalore airport. As always the booking was accepted and the driver details came at 10 am. I called the driver to explain him the way.
After that I called him again to check at 10 30 as he did not come till then and he said that he has reached some other place. I called the call centre and they said that the driver will be there in 5 minutes. As I was getting late for the airport so I called the driver and call centre repeatedly after every 5 minute. However by 10 45 there was no clue of the driver and hence I decided to cancel the booking and make alternate arraangement for the airport at 10 50 as I was getting delayed for airport.
My humble request to you is please do not accept an airport booking and fail to honour it at last moment. I hope you understand that the flight ticket costs dearly and an unprofessional and a casual attitude from you can lead to a customer missing a flight. This was the first time that driver failed to turn up but from now on it will be difficult to trust Meru for any future airport commuting as I am not sure whether you are going to honour your commitment to drop airport on time.
I am sure that I am not the only one who has gone through this ordeal. There may be many more people who would have gone through the same trial because of insensitive attitude of your staff. Please be mindful of the fact that a delay in drop at the airport has significant financial implication for your customer in case he/she misses the flight.
