I had booked a Meru cab for a drop to the Airport - and I booked it more than a day in advance. Meru Cab sent me a message confirming that my booking is accepted and even gave a booking reference number; and also stated in the same message that the cab number will be given to me 20 mts before the cab requirement time. Fine.I trusted the message & did not make any alternate arrangements. I mean.why would I? I have a confirmed booking, right?
20 mts before the cab requirement time, the jerks sent me a message that they have no cabs in the area - so I should make other arrangements. What do they think.how will I be getting a cab at a 20 mts notice? And if they can't service a booking, why accept it at all & why send a confirmation number? I nearly ended up missing my flight trying to find alternate transportation to the airport.
