I was happy to note that Meru air conditioned cabs were now available in the city and was under impression that they maintain high standard of service. During last one year I have used the Cab services no. of times only due to the medical reason that I am supposed to travel by a AC vehicle.


I found that the Cab service is very poor. Booking the cab itself is a big task. The 15 minutes booking period works out to be of more than 30 minutes. Sometimes one losses the patient. More over if you are geeted with a reply in negative, you are no where.


Some of the drivers are rude and do not report in time . Some also indulge in rash driving. The vehicle is parked at a different location than fixed.It becomes a herculian task to locate them, although the drivers mobile no. is given. Some of the vehicles are in poor condition and not at all comfortable.


The drivers are reluctant to give receipts and most of the time machines run out of the paper. Although it is a small matter but it is worth mentioning that some of the drivers do not give balance money on the pretext that they do not have change.


I have been successful in booking the cab 35% time.
