Please find my latest experience regarding Meru cab service in Bangalore. And based on that please conclude if you can trust it Or not.
1) On 2 Sep, 8:30 am I called Meru Customer care and book a taxi for 9:00 am. I had been told that at 9:10 taxi will be there at my place.
2) It was OK for me as from my house to my office it is around 30-40 min journey . I was supposed to attend a meeting from 10:30 am.
3) I waited till 9:10 and then again called customer care to know the status of it as by the time I had not received driver's details from Meru.
4) I had been told that within 10 minutes, cab will be theer at my place .
5) again at 9:25 , I had called Meru customer care and asked the status. I was again told that cab is on the way and it will be there at my place within 5 minutes.
6) Around 9:30, I got a SMS regarding cab number and driver name , but driver mobile number was missing there.
7) Around 9:40 , I called customer care of Meru and got the same answer that cab will be there within 10 minutes.
8) I waited till 9:50 and took an auto and reached office by 10:30 . It is 10:50, I am already there in my office, but by this time I have not received any call from Meru.
Now what should I call this, heights of irresponsibility. they even didnt bother to update me the status.If I would have waited for another 5 minutes, I would have missed my important meeting.
Please do not trust Meru . You may miss flights/ train/ busses Or important meetings.
They are very irresponsibile.
