Slow and difficult to relate. Review on Meri Pyaari Bindu

Plot:

Abhimanyu(Aausmaan Khurana) and Bindu(Pariniti chopara) are neighbors in Calcutta. Since childhood Abhimanyu has a crush on Bindu. But he never shares his feeling with her and behaves just like a friend. Bidu's mother dies in a road accident due drink and driving of her father. So she starts hating her father and leaves him, and starts living with her Aunty in Australia. Abhimanyu starts doing MBA and after completing MBA gets a job in a bank in Mumbai, however he wants to become a writer. Abhimanyu gets in a live in relationship.  Bindu also comes to Mumbai as she wants to become a singer. Accidentally Abhimanyu and Bindu meets in Mumbai. Mean while Bindu's father suggested some boys for her marriage, but Bindu rejects all of them. Finally Abhimanyu proposes Bindu at his flat, which she accepts. Abhimanyu invites their families to his flat. However the same day Bindu refuses to marry Abhimanyu stating that she does not believe in the concept of housewife, and she wants to live a free life. Abhimanyu quits his job and starts concentrating on his writing carrier. After few years Bindu calls Abhimanyu and tells him that she is going to get married. On that Abhimanyu told her that he is happy for her. After few more years Bindu came back to her home with her daughter as her father sells their house to leave the city forever., and Bindu wanted her daughter see that house. Abhimanyu and Bindu meets again and Abhimanyu still loves her.

Performance:

All the actors in the film has given an excellent  performance. Aaushman plays the role of Abhimanyu, who is a sweet and innocent boy, However, after Bindu's refusal of his marriage proposal, his character transforms from sweet to intense, serious and matured. Bindu is a confused girl who does not want to stick to one thing. But finally with age she realizes  the importance of  stability in life and gets married and becomes a responsible mother. Even the supporting actors has a a done a tremendous job. As they are actually from the Bangla film industry, they have flawlessly portrayed the Bangla characters,

Music:

Music of the film is average. Songs are not like the one you want to listen again and again.  Even you don't remember the lyrics of any of the song.

The biggest flaw of the movie is that its very slow at places. Film gets pace after Abhimanyu's marriage proposal to Bindu, which could have been shown earlier. Abhimanyu falls in love at first sight, but he propose Bindu almost after 10 years, and even after she gets married, he continues to love her.   Now in today's generations people are very much quicker in terms of expression of love and they are practical enough to move on, so some people will find it difficult, to connect with Abhimanyu's character, and will feel bored during the movie.

So go for this movie. if you have also gone through the same phase in your life and want to re feel those moments, or if you still feel, that innocent one sided silent love is cute and want to get emotional and cry. Otherwise you are definitely going to feel bored, except last 30 minutes of the movie.
