A love traingle relationship has been witnessed umpteen times on the Indian screen before. But there have been a handful of films that have captured the relationship between one man and two woman with the sensitivity it deserves. Suneel Darshan's MJS one such striking example.

Akshay kumar is a popstar. His dreams are supported by his college sweetheart Anjali (a favorite name for Darshans) played by Amisha Patel. Both of them work and pray hard for his success and that one elusive break. With dreams in eyes and a simple life to look forward to, the love story of Vicky and Anjali also progresses further.

Lady luck arrives soon with Vicky's signature song 'Mere Jeevan Saathi' rocking one of the shows he participates in. His talent doesn't go unnoticed and he is signed by event organizers Morani and Torani [Gulshan Grover - Ashish Vidyarthi] for their stage shows. But as the saying goes - when it rains it pours!! Because no sooner than he is signed by Morani-Torani, the news of his talent also reaches West and he is offered a proposal by a renowned music company Angel International Music.

A novice in the world of music, he has to make a choice between those who signed him first and those who offered him a much more lucrative offer. He goes with the latter, hence turning Morani-Torani against him. Now they want his career to be destroyed at any cost and in the process end up hurting Vicky's lady love Anjali, who is left wounded.

Vicky is forced to make the second most critical choice of his life now. Either he stays back with Anjali till she gets back to good health or go ahead to pursue his dreams. Anjali, as a true well wisher of her lover, persuades him to opt for the latter and off he goes to Canada.

This is where the twist in the tale comes. Because Angel International Music is owned by none other than Natasha, a glamorous and intelligent woman [Karishma Kapoor], who was silently in love with Vicky in the college days. In fact she also turns out to be the writer of the love song 'Mere Jeevan Saathi', which was unknown to Vicky all this while.

Old memories get rekindled for Natasha whose love for Vicky turns from possessive to the extent of being obsessive. Not to let the man of her desire go off so easily, her character takes such a negative turn that could harm the lives of anyone coming in her way.

The lives of Anjali, Vicky or even herself!!

The film abounds in sequences that have been handled with utmost care, notable among those that focus on the relationship between Akshay and Karishma. The dramatic scenes are just right and not once does any character get loud or go overboard.

The emotional scenes, featuring Karishma, are a treat to watch. The climax, of course, takes the viewer by surprise and was the best way out to culminate the story.

It is difficult to think of any other actress who could've essayed this complex role with such sincerity as Karishma. A powerhouse of talent, this film is yet another effort on the part of the actress to showcase the talent she possesses. To state that she is exceptional would be an understatement.

Another actor who delivers a first-rate performance is Akshay, who essays the role of a self-centred men brilliantly. Amisal is effective.

Music is exceptional and Cinematography is splendid.

worth your time and money.Go for it!!
