Well, you may be thinking what this is!!! Right?? Let me tell you then…today I am going to write about an add of Mentos…a candy…you must have watched it on TV and must have smiled at it, because it makes you remember the days when you did something of that kind and had a lot of fun…
Ok ok…for those people who have not seen it till now…I am going to give a brief idea about the advertisement…
Scene 1
A boy in his teens comes running with a expression of horror to college only to find out that the class has already been started and the lecturer is writing something on the board…
So he tries to get inside the classroom without letting the teacher know. He keeps on moving with a slow pace…but somehow (due to his bad luck!!!) the teacher sees him and says……..Ab aa rahe ho!!!!!!!! Get out…
He goes out of the class scrapping his head…and the narrator tells………. Yeh hai aam zindegi….
Scene 2
The same boy….once again running for his class with the same horrified look on his face and the same situation ….class has started and the teacher is writing something on the blackboard….
But this time the boy seems to have a concrete plan….at the door of the class…he turns around…and tries to enter into the class while taking backward steps with a slow pace…
When the teacher finds out he thinks that the boy is trying to bunk the class…he gets angry and says…..Kahan jaa rahe ho!!!!!! Sit down….
The boy comes and sits at the proper seat with a smile of victory….
And the narrator says….Yeh hai Mentos zindegi….Mentos khao…dimaag ki batti jalao……
Now my boring talk…….ha ha ha..
Well, as I was saying from the beginning, this is a kind of add which makes us to remember some mischief of our life…as after 6 months or so….i will be out of my college going to some office…leaving behind all such incidents and having the memories with me to remember and cherish…
All those times when we had a mass bunk and slipped under the nose of our teacher….the times when I saw my friends entering into the class without making any sound and the teacher never knew it….or the time when I bunked the classes with some of my friends to play basket ball…they will remain there craved in my mind and memories…for ever…this is my 7th sem…and I am left with one more semester and we have decided to live the whole of our life in these coming couple of months…we will live our childhood here…..:-)
The boy shown in this add is just a representative of our generation…I am not saying that doing mischief is good …but sometimes these small things make our lives more pleasurable….All those hectic routines…those labs, those theory classes, those assignments, those exams, those sessionals….Our human mind needs something to relax…and in my class there are some students who actually make our college days magical…with all those mischief…shararatein…
When Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had come to our college, he told the first 2 lines I wrote…though I missed the function but I heard these lines from somebody else and it made me to think….those sweet mischief are essential…
I don’t know what you feel about the add…but I am quite sure that if you are somebody who is now out of college and doing job somewhere then, atleast once, you must have smiled and wondered about your college days……..
So this review…is dedicated to all my friends and to my college…..you will be there in my heart forever…….i am gonna miss these days too much…:-)
This is my first review in this new year……….And to all my MS friends….A Very Happy New Year….wish you all have a great year ahead….
