Nothing great about the literature style. What is great is the collection of paper clippings, pictures and transcripts of letters presented in the book. I would recommend this book for anyone who is willing to go through a fair amount of argument about whether or not India's Independence happened the way it was supposed to be.

Being in a democracy, I feel it is important for anyone to try and understand the other side of the coin, especially when school children are just taught that Ghandi, the father of our nation, was just killed.

The killer was not a lunatic and he represented a reasonable population. To me this book was an eye opener on how ravishing the split of India was for India.

Added to that is the fact that the Britishes are to blame for playing with our mother land taking all self respect out of us, though the book doesn't explicitly state so.
