Anyone would freak out!
I worked for 5 yrs.
Initially they give a warm welcome. No hikes . No one responds to emails. Never! From immediate reporting manager to mid level all are always in sleeping mode. They can be awaken with phone calls of course.
They will induce spelling mistakes in names in documents to delay future settlements etc.
Also one should be very careful about leave encashment and gratuity. They will find all the means to snatch that from you. Somehow they wont give these things.
