Meizu M2 is a budget price which is priced at budget of around 7k. Meizu M2 is a budget handset which offers good package.
Design: The looks of the M2 is simple but very ergonomical. The back looks like a metal one but actually it is made of plastic. Earpiece, front camera and other usual set of sensors above the display and a single button below the display. Right hand side has volume rocker and power button. Left has hybrid SIM slot. On top it has a 3.5mm jack and the microUSB port and the speaker grille lie on the bottom. It is a bit thick on its sides. Rear has the camera unit and branding on the bottom of the rear side. Overall the build quality is good for a device in this price range. The device is quite sturdy also. It may not be the best looking handset in this price range but it offers sturdy built.
Display: M2 sports a 5inch 720p display. The display colours is on neutral side. Contrast level is good. Display is protected by Dragontrail glass. Display is on dim side. The brightness level is low and it suffers in outdoor conditions. Viewing angles are also average and the devices not works well outdoor conditions. Overall the display is good for its price.
Camera: M2 comes with a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. The camera are just average. The camera performs very average for the set of cameras. The camera are just average. UI of the cameras are also good and offers a clean UI.
Software: Flyme OS is one the best UI from a Chinese smartphone makers. It is very well optimized and gives a very sleek and smooth UI.
Hardware: M2 comes with 1.3Ghz MediaTek MT6735 coupled with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The processor is not very powerful but when combined with the superior software optimization it gives a lag free experience. It performs well for its price.
Features: It is a 4G enabled device comes with USB OTG support and the connectivity and other features are usual as the competition.
Battery: M2 comes with a 2500mAh batter and the smartphone delivers a day full of battery on average usage.
Verdict: Meizu M2 is average device for its price. Its not the best in its class. Competition offers more value for money options like Coolpad Note 3 lite.
