In response to Kamini's question, referring to the book Mein Kampf:
''Does this book give the correct picture of the GREAT man Hitler?''
To use the word ''great'' and the name Hitler in the same sentence is (in my opinion) absolutely disgusting!
This man was not great, he was a raving, mad lunatic with aspirations to take over and rule the world!
His main objective was to rid the world of Jews, Catholics, Blacks, Gypsies and anyone else who didn't fit ''his'' description of a perfect Germanic specimen.
I have read this long and tedious book, and the ''product description'' actually sums it up quite well.
This book was the ravings and ranting of a man of genius intelligence, who put it to use for nothing short of murder and slaughter of between 8 and 10 million people.
The only ''great'' thing that this man ever did was to take his own life towards the end of the war!
I'm sorry if this just seems like a rant of my own, but, I have very strong feelings on the subject.
When I think of the torture and pain and suffering this man put so many people through, because of his sick, demented mind, I cringe! My stomach churns and I can only hope and pray that this never happens again!
Although I know that these things are happening on a smaller scale now in some unfortunate ''third world'' countries, I can not imagine it ever happening on the same scale it did some 60 years ago.
So in answer to Kamini's question, NO! It doesn't show the ''GREAT'' man in the correct picture. It shows him as a HUMAN BEING, which he was not!
