Driven by unprofissoinal and dumb managers. Review on Mcafee Software

I was having 10+ years of industry experience in C+ and VC+ when I joined, with a long term goal.

After I joined they kept me idle for three months with some training, than the project was shifted to US, so they moved me to another team forcibly.The team was full of self styled genius, who think them self as Einstein with a completely technically dumb managers who hardly has anything to do with new joinees.

1) Even though everything was new to me, they did not even conducted single knowledge transfer session to me by saying this is not something for their getting paid for.

2) First time I saw a company where non complied code gets checked in into source repository, so that a new joinee will get into trouble and everything was accompanied by the manager. It was fully arrogant team where they hardly talk professionally to anyone who comes from outside.

3)Finally after three months of mental harassment, they put me into manual testing by saying I am technically unfit.

6) Many a times I asked for leave approval but they did not approve, on the contrary other members used to take leave without having any prior approval.

5) I escalated the issue to director, hr other managers but they hardly listened to me.  I requested hr to for  team change, HR said you have completed only 11 months and can not do team change before 12 month. When I started arguing them a lot, they reveal manager has given me under performer rating so I can not do team change. They asked me to talk to manager and not to HR.

6)I joined as a senior team member. The first day I joined the team, they were fully jealous of me and went through all cheap ways to remove me from the team.

7)Finally when I got irritated by looking into such people I put on paper and left the company.

What I want to convey here by posting this article is, this is a company which is not governed but ruled by people. It's 100% your luck in case you got a good or a bad team. In case you are in trouble no one will come and listen to your problem.

In spite of the fact the company is acquired by Intel, it's not core Intel, it's a subsidiary of Intel and you will not be able to see any kind of rules, regulation, discipline, ethics and culture that you expect.

I have worked for the best of the company in India, but never had seen such professionalism where people are insisted to quit for no reason within 11 months of time frame.

Enterprise group is the worst group in company and is completely superseded by the competitors because of their inability to drive the product and make a healthy development environment in the office.  Everyday there is layoff in the group so be careful.
