It is not a really surprising to hear about McDonald's recipe for success. But the fact is that many 'ethnic' vegetarians have been misled into eating fries that they wouldn't have otherwise consumed.
A global company of the size of McDonald's does have the resources to sell french fries that are truly vegetarian and as tasty as the 'beefy' fries. I think many people would prefer absolute vegetarian fries and the the beef eaters wouldn't care either ways. Double profit - what?
I wouldnt find it difficult to boycott McDonald's altogether though I would miss the experience. Honestly, I would now doubt every thing on the menu, ice cream and apple pie included. Who knows what they put where ?

THE QUESTION IS NOT OF BEING VEG OR NOT....or any other form of one-up man ship. It simply a question of choice...to be veg or not is a personal decision and whether this is respected by others does not really matter - what matters is the honesty of those that sell food. Why the deception?
Oh..the political ruckus in Delhi .... as usual...madness of the moment for maximum political mileage...most of those hypocrites enjoy their tandoori chicken with relish and dont really appreciate that that meat is meat - beef or otherwise.
