I have been reading several reviews about McDonald's. First of all, while I was in high school (10 plus years ago), I worked at 2 different McDonald's, and 1 Burger King. The first thing I will address is the health issue.
McDonald's is NOT supposed to be eaten every day. Remember the You deserve a break today slogan? McDonald's is for occasional eating. It is a place for an entire family to go for a quick and great tasting meal. Yes, it tastes good. No, it is not healthy. Why are you eating out if you want healthy? Healthy cooking and eating are for home, and nice restaurants. You can't do fast AND healthy. I know a lot of you think Burger King is healthier. You are just kidding yourselves.
McDonald's is NOT clean, nor is any other restaurant for that matter. Yes, some appear to be clean, some even smell clean. Think about it. How many filthy tables did that rag wash off before they wiped off your ''clean'' table? On top of that, how often is that water they are using changed? You are not home. You are not going to get that spick and span cleanliness you have in your house. The restaurants are just clean enough for the health department. The health department realizes the restaurants will never be clean, so they have sub par standards for restaurants to meet.
Despite the things I state in my review, I am a big fan of McDonald's!! I know these things are what they are, and I accept that. I don't hold McDonald's up to a five star restaurant, or even to my own kitchen. Mcdonald's is a place that I stop to get food for my family when we want it, or when we are in a hurry to eat.
