The dream came true yesterday ! I seen myself as the Star Writer at the mouthshut ! (Come on I'm not sounding like SRK at Filmfare... Khudke mooh miya mitthu or Hum hum hein , baki pani kam hein ! )

It wasn't day-dreaming or building castles in air for me. I asked my thick-skinned colleagues to pinch me, without wasting anytime they did it promptly and yes the Dream came true ! (Allegators have thick skin and nakli tears too... my colleagues are not allegators, they worked with Cricket Control Board of India as selectors !Hence, thick skin and nakli tears !).

Although,i sung the Lakshya theme song only a few hours back. I never knew that it would work so fast. Wish Hritik could have sung this after Kaho na Pyar he immediately ... He would have added a number of hits in his kitty !

This gives me an opportunity to put on board the thankful appreciation that I'm getting for the crap that I'm throwing at you with every passing review .... (come on Aditya..Now u r talking like SRK at Filmfare...)

With every passing review of mine, I used to think of ''Zamana he crap ka'' ! And immediately those two glorious, hefty, curvaceous (Come on ! Dont remember Mallika here!) golden archs used to flash before my eyes ! The moment I think of McDonalds' global business, I'm forced to be assured of a long term stint at Mouthshut for my writing style. If junk is the fashion populated by McDonalds, let me reap benefit from that much populated fashion.

McDonalds ''na'' janeka bahana No. 190 ... 191 ... 192 ... I can count on

Still remember, fast food for me used to be quick garama-garam chapatis or rotis and a spoonful of ghee on it given by my mother ! It was defined as fast food because the speed at which the mother used to cook rotis was impressive when she used to see me hungry. The rotis, ghee and the feelings behind that serving were unadulterated and they were good for my health, physical as well mental health !

The time advanced then... I started going to school... and my tryst with the real fast food started ! A stop at the school side batata-wada stall, ocasional visit to the shetty hotel for eating the dosa (Considred to be fast food that time), eating that sandvich with demand for that extra sauce contained my encounters with fast food duringmy schooling !

Waqt badhta gaya, mera fast food ka attraction badhta gaya ! Meanwhile, I never noticed of the disappearing elements like handful of healthy stuffin my fast-food !

At that time, economy was liberalised opening doors for global business ! And yes yes... the opportunity that we were always waiting for knocked in India. First McDonalds outlet appeared in Mumbai. Still remember, the 3 hours waiting period experienced by my friends at the McDonalds outlet ! Still remember those crispy fingerchips with the greedy demand for extra sauce doses. I can still recollect the odd looks that I was receiving when I ate each of the element in the burger by taking it out , ogling at it and gulping it down.

It was crazy...but I was ingnorant too and was blinded by the chamak-damak ! The Mac, the joker with his funky clothes, wonderful dimples and that wide open smile always fascinated me ! It still fascinates me .. But Now-a-days I like to watch him sitting outside the Mcd outlet, I'm not trapped to go inside.

Kids love it : Apart from the joker sitting outside , the kids have liking to the jazzy and flashy insides too ! Innovative schemes of Mcdonalds prompts the kids to come to Mcd again and again !

The parents love it : Its strictly about the parents who like to give their kids whatever they like...so if they like McDonalds and because of which they are going to be happy and keep their mouth shut...Parents wont mind throwing some money on Mcdonalds.

I dont love it: First of all, there is lack of innovation on McDonalds Menu. Their efforts to Indianise have failed drastically. I always contended that the Indianisation of menu is a marketing ploy to fool us again ! Me see the contents being the same for the items with the covers changed with a sweet Indian name with a touch of fusion i.e. Paneer Salsa !

Am I a sinner to change my opinion now to rate it as bad because my tastes have changed over the years: My tastes for food have changed...But McDonalds still boasts a bland menu. The chips, burger still form major part of it and taste all the same. Well, the dosa and idali taste same for ages now. So why should I have objection over unchanged taste of Mcd ... Idli and dosa are staple food of some Indians... We eat at Mcd ocasionally !

Comments from Khalil Gibran on my reviewing style : Exaggeration is truth that has lost its temper !
