Growing up, almost every friday evening, my family and I would pile in the mini-van and head to our local McDonald`s.What stuck in my mind the most was the cleanliness of the restaurant as well as the smiling faces behind the counter ready to assist you.I don`t really recall the quality of the food but I do remember the cool little toys in there signature Happy Meals. Those were my golden years at the Golden Arches. Now as an adult,I find myself enjoying the quality of the food and not enjoying the ambience. The faces behind the counter are not very pleasant and I also refuse to dine in due to the filth that surrounds me.Maybe I keep going back hoping to recapture my youth. The food is great for all but in my humble opinion, the kids can have it.
