Myself Chaitali and today I am going to share my personal experience regarding the " McCOY MSWH1 1L " Instant water geyser which I bot around two months ago for my personal use.
First things first, The look of the product is very basic, It looks like a ten year old geyser from out look. the design is very old and there is no graphics or other stuff to make it look interesting. The product quality is very bad, The plastic used is very poor in quality, if you put your finger forcefully then the plastic bends and makes noise, like its will break. The design is like a huge oval shape egg. And this product feels very heavy, Its around five kg, which is very heavy for geyser of its size of 2ft x 1ft. So this geyser is not at all durable. As the product quality is very bad I mentioned.
Now the biggest question is on its user friendliness, As the box pack only contains the geyser it self and the electric wire. No user guide was there, So its difficult to understand how it works. There is no display in the geyser. So you cant see the actual temperature of the water. It does not have a remote control which is very bad for a costly geyser like this. The size and the weight mentioned above by me makes this geyser very difficult to handle and shift it from one place to another place, So the handiness is very low. You ned to put it on your birth room thats it, no plan for changing the place.
No the biggest issue is that, this product is not even a 3 star item. So it consumes high amount of electricity and the bill is very high. It takes almost thirty minutes to produce hot water. so it is very slow while on the go and consumes high amount of energy. So don't buy this product if you are looking for power saving product. The control buttons are very small with small written instructions so you can hardly see and read anything. So its difficult to handle. The switch quality used is poor in quality. Not at all long lasting. You need to put this geyser on for 24 x 7 for all time hot water, it don't have auto modes. SO it does not saves power. and you need to operate it all the time, which is next to impossible. Very bad product with high price. The customer service is not at all good, while purchasing they said it will take the engineers one hour to install this product but after buying then don't even received customers call and came to install after three long day after calling them so many times. And it took them four to five hour to fix the product. But after few days of use the geyser was not working properly and the water was not getting hot, So I tried to call the customer service and they don't even receive calls, I tried eleven times but no answer, so I emailed them and they Faizabad me after four days and said it will take them around three working days. But they came after one week and I had to wait. And they said the compressor is not working properly so they need to change the wires and it will take two hours and it will cost 1, 270 rupees as the physical damaging is not part of warranty. I was shocked and eventually I had to aishwaryasingh23 the money and they fixed the geyser after three hours.
So the customer service is not at all good, and they charge badly for nothing. No help from them. So this product is a big no from my side, don't buy this geyser as you will get so many other good products in market in less price. This is a high priced geyser with low performance. It is a request not to buy this product. Try brands like BAJAJ, USHA, SINGER etc.
