So so performance. Review on Maybelline Baby Lips

I have been using Maybelline Baby Lips for the past 3 years now. I generally use the Cherry Lips and the Berry Crush versions. In the first few years it did quite a good job; nice color, nice smell, nice moister and all lasted quite long, for at least 4 to 6 hours. But since I began to use the Berry Crush flavor, it appeared to be quite muddy on the lips. The longevity was also reduced. All in all the pros and cons are as follows-

Pros:

1. Reasonable price

   
   




2. A lot of variety and flavors to choose from

   
   




3. Beautiful colors

   
   

4.  Nice moisterizing capacity

1. SPF for sun protection

Cons:

1. Muddy and thick texture on the lips even with minimal application

   
   




2. Does not lasts long

   
   




3. Color seems to change with time and exposure to the sun

   
   

4.  Leaves a lingering chemical smell on the lips

1. Even the non-tinted versions kind of glitters

So these made a loyal customer like me to look for other alternative lip balms. Will try and buy a new one other than the Baby Lips next time.
