I was sold this policy(Max NewYork Life Insurance Monthly Income Plan) by Mr. Pradeep Nikam from Axis Bank Aundh, Pune. He said that there is no surrender charges and the entire amount can be refunded on policy surrender/cancellation.
I paid 68000/- for the policy and when I wanted to surrender after 1 year, I was told that this is not possible. They will not return a single penny. It was my PF amount from my previous company.Max New York is a fraud and beware of Axis Bank Agents who are trying to sell these policies. Please Beware of Max NewYork Life Insurance. I will rate it 0 if I could.
