Most disgusting and unprofessional hospital I have ever visited. Its just a money minting machine, so go there if your pockets are full of unaccounted money, which is the typical clientele of this hospital. If you want a fair deal, this hospital is not for you.
I never liked this hospital, heard so many stories about it. I went there only because my wife insisted. My wife complained of acute pain and bleeding and I admitted her to Emergency here in her 6th week of pregnancy(as asked by our gynac Dr. Suman Lal).
After admission, hospital staff told us Emergency doctor is in some surgery and will be available shortly. Then she came after 10 minutes and asked us for an ultrasound. Even for an emergency ultrasound they made us wait for an hour. When our turn came for ultrasound, radiologist told us she asked multiple times if there is anybody in emergency!
Btw, emergency patients are charged Rs. 500 per hour until they are billed(not until they are discharged). That explains the wait for hospital.After ultrasound, we came back to emergency room and asked for doctor to see the ultrasound report and discharge us(as it was all fine). Now they told us ultrasound report is being written and will be here in "5 minutes". Even after 15 min, it dint came. Then I started losing my patience and started raising my voice. Finally they printed a form and gave to an attendant and sent him with me for payment to another counter. On payment counter, there was a big queue and I waited patiently along with my wife for our turn to come. When our turn came, they charged us Rs. 3, 450 for same ultrasound which we have got done for Rs. 1, 950 exactly a week back. On being asked questions, billing guy sent me to duty manager. Duty manager started callling multiple people including doctor who has done the ultrasound, finally she told me Rs. 1, 950 was for when pregnancy was not discovered. After pregnancy discovery, its a different ultrasound, so I am charged a higher rate. Unless you are a medical professional, you cannot counter something like that. Fine, I decided to pay whatever they are charging and end my trauma.
I went to payment counter again, only to be told now I will be charged 3 hrs room rent since billing is from admission until payment! So they ended up charging me Rs. 1, 500 for rent and Rs. 3450 for ultrasound and for mental agony to me and my wife for 3 hours.
