Currency to Carry**: US Dollar with you, do not exchange money from airport, you will get lots of money exchanger everywhere. You will get a good rate at Western Union, though you can exchange your money from hotel also in worst case as they offer very less rate.

Tour Operator Experience:** Once we came out from the Mauritian airport our Thomas Cook representative was waiting there for us, he gave us a welcome kit that includes a map, some tour guides and water sport packages. He wasted our near about 2 hours in gathering all couples, then our journey starts, roads are too good, traffic was organized and site scene are heart taking, our local representative summarizing the tour while transferring to hotel, he offered us few packages for Quad biking, water sports, Cruise, Sky diving, submarines etc.. After 2 hrs we arrived at the hotel.
Hotel we opted:Pearl Beach Resort, on Flic en Flac Beach , Wolmar
Hotel ambience : Excellent
Room (we opted) : Sea View
Room ambience: Excellent
Beach in front of Hotel: Average , not very clean
Food:
Ø Breakfast:is continental you will get lots of option and there was a live kitchen where you can ask for a customize Omelet for you.
Ø Dinner: Most of the things are non-veg (mostly beef) you can ask hotel food manager to cook some veg food for you like biryani, Dal. Since they ate very less spices so you have to adjust and add salt and spices as per your taste.
Suggestion for food:
Ø Carry some packets of ready to eat foods, Maggie noodles and some other stuff, food is a problem in Mauritius in case you are not lucky enough in searching one good restaurant.
Ø In restaurant ask the waiter that you DON’T need sweet food (if not said they will add sugar in your food)
Ø Water is paid everywhere in hotels/restaurants, it’s advisable to buy 5 liters jar from any mall that cost you 59 MUR and always carry a 2ltr bottle with you
· The 3 days tour offered to you includes:
Ø Day 1 North (This may be change base on the day you traveling):Ok types, this day includes Port Louis (Capital of Mauritius) ask for the cheap market if you want to buy something, or else all are malls same in Delhi so not worth buying
Ø Day 2 lle Ex Cerf : Here you need to buy water sports package that cost 6500 MUR for two, they have monopoly there so no bargain. Water sports have a unique exp. so do not miss anything, it’s not at all scary you will enjoy every bit of it. Water sports includes 1. Under Sea walk (with photo CD), 2. Parasailing, Tube Ride and water fall watch through speed boat
Ø South tour: This one is also boring types but you will get good pictures in this trip.
Ø How to spend two days and the final day when u need to carry flight from Mauritius that are free :
o One day you may go for cruise they will charge 3600 MUR for two ppl, it’s a good experience (take the cruise dolphin one, here you can see live Dolphins, they will offer you unlimited Free Drinks (Hard and Soft) and Food
o Second day you can go for shopping to Qutre Bones, it’s a cheap market you will get a good stuff for T-Shirts, Cosmetics.
o Last day you visit Casela park where you can interact with Tigers and Lions, this is a life time experience and one should take this, it will cost you 1700 MUR for two, it includes interaction with Tiger or a Lion , if you want to interact both just bribe someone inside , they will charge 600 MUR for a couple , do not click photos there as you will get a CD @ 500 MUR with very good pics.
