I took Matrix for the first time before traveling to Europe on a business trip for 4 days. After coming back and receiving their bill, I come to know I was charged for LOCAL SMS' to a "9011" number and was refused to being provided a second billing.
They charged me almost Rs 500 in total for ten 1 minute calls. When disputed this with the concerned team at Matrix, the representative refused to provide me a second billing to dispute these one minute calls. I had given several missed calls to an Indian number to hint the person to call me back as incoming within EU was free.
Currently have a nice overcharged bill from them of Rs 3200 that I am putting in dispute. The representatives are of no help as they have 0 authority to give anything in writing. After emailing them several times on this issue, I just get one automated response:
Dear Customer,
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your email, our customer service team will look into the issue. As we are experiencing high volumes, you will receive a response within 48 - 72 hours.Assuring you for the best services.
My advise is to avoid MATRIX under any circumstances, and if you absolutely are planning to go for it, make sure you get all the information on paper before signing their contract.
